10 Days Geologic and tourist Tour Marrakech Erfoud Merzouga

 1^st day:

Arrival in Marrakech, transfer and overnight in a hotel or a riad in the medina. Depending on the time of arrival: exploring the famous Jemaa El Fna, visit the Majorelle Gardens, Menara tower, the Saadian Tombs, the Medina or walk in the Mellah (Jewish quarter).

2^nd day:

Destination Todra Gorge via the road of a thousand Kasbahs. On the way to lunch Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or guest house in the middle of Todra.

3^rd day:

Departure to Erfoud. On the road, lunch Tinjdad. Arrival in Erfoud fossil visit workshops and night in a hostel in the fossil quarry.

4^th day:

Search Trilobites, Ammonites and hematite in Hmar Lakhdad; picnic in the desert of stones. Then visit another mine from 6 km to seek Sea Stars and Trilobites. Night at the same inn.

5^th day:

Destination Agraa to find crinoids, the Orthocers, Beliminites and the Ammonites. Picnic spot in the desert of stones. Then, on another site, search Rose des Sables and Stromatolites. Departure to Merzouga dunes. Berber dinner and lively night at the inn at the foot of Erg Chebbi the largest dune in Morocco.

6^th day:

Destination Bgraa to find teeth of dinosaurs and crocodiles, Ammonites and Gonatites. Overnight homestay.

7^th day:

Departure for Maidar looking for several kinds of Trilobites. Overnight camping “Timbuktu”.

8^th day:

Departure to Ouarzazate and overnight stay.

9^th day:

Departure to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in Riad

10^th day:

Transfer to the airport.
